It is a universal cold shoe with NATO rail featuring 1/4" slot, thus it could attach to the 1/4"-20 threaded holes on the different part of the cage rig. With the specific design, the cold shoe can exceed the cage for adding hot shoe mount accessory like microphone and EVF, never causing blocking issue. In addition, you are allowed to add NATO-compatible accessory like articulating arm with NATO clamp for monitor.
